J. Peter Hill, DVM
Dr. J. Peter Hill has cared for pets as a general practitioner for more than two decades. It is his mission at PetCare Animal Hospital to provide high quality pet health care so that pets may live longer, happier and healthier lives. Dr. Hill's goal is to provide clients with access to cutting-edge products and services and authoritative educational content that focuses on enhancing the bond between a client and his or her pet.
Dr. Hill received his Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and a Master's degree in Dairy Science, with a focus on Reproductive Physiology, at Ohio State University. He continued his veterinary education at the University of the Philippines College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1983.
Dr. Hill and his wife, Julie, are the proud parents of a daughter, Lily. Their family also includes two dogs, Kelsey and Princess; four parrots named Gigi, Squiggy, Largo, and Missy; and a tank full of fish. When he's not caring for animals at the hospital, Dr. Hill enjoys golfing, traveling, cooking, going on hikes and collecting rare and vintage wines.
Philip Krawec, DVM
Dr. Philip Krawec grew up in the Cincinnati area and is a graduate of Sycamore High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in Agriculture at The Ohio State University. He then received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in June 2011. While in school, he had the opportunity to work on a variety of animals from dogs and cats, to horses, cattle and goats, to white tailed deer and reindeer. His professional areas of interest include cardiology, ophthalmology, reproduction, surgery, and routine preventative care.
When he is not at PetCare, he is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Krawec has owned and cared for a variety of animals throughout his lifetime. He currently has two pets; a Great Dane mix named Eeyore, and a chinchilla named Ernie.
